On a train trip back from London I used my Laptop, yes actually got something half useful done on a train journey. I had a couple of nagging questions about Vista Sidebar gadgets so I thought I’d try a quick example. Threw together a couple of html and JavaScript files and voilà had a gadget. But it didn’t seem to respond to the resize events correctly. After a number of random changes I finally released my mistake. It seems that you must set a default size in the CSS otherwise it goes a bit crazy. I’m not sure if that is the official line but it certainly seemed to fix the problem for me.
